Abstract

This study aims to understand consumer vulnerability and financial well-being related to the credit consumption of young entrepreneurs in the Pernambucano clothing hub. Using qualitative research as a method, in the first phase of data collection, individual, face-to-face and semi-structured interviews were carried out with young entrepreneurs. After transcription, the data was organized and a content analysis was performed. The results indicate that the consumption of credit among young entrepreneurs can lead them to vulnerable situations, negatively affecting their financial well-being and all of this is related to bad financial decisions and accumulation of debt, creating a harmful cycle for well-being. financial. The research also points out transformative propositions for the consumer environment that can help organizations in how to act in situations of consumer vulnerability.
